Monserrate, Bogotá Center and Gold Museum

We meet at the entrance to Monserrate, we go up to the mountain by funicular or cable car, I explain the history of the place, then we enter to the church where we can find Virgin Mary of Monserrat and the fallen Christ. After that, we see the city.

Then we go to Bogotá downtown by cable car or funicular, we arrive at Candelaria neighborhood, where we walk through narrow streets, they have lots of graffitis and colonial houses. After that, we reach Chorro de Quevedo that is the place where the city was founded. We continue towards Calle 10 where we will find coffees and the Teatro Colón. Then we go to the Gold Museum, then we take time to taste a delicious coffee and lunch. Later we walk down Calle 11 and arrive at the cultural block, where we enter the Botero Museum. We enter the Gabriel García Marquez cultural center built by one of the most famous architects in Colombia. Then we go to the Plaza de Bolívar to know the main administrative buildings of the country and the Primada Cathedral of Bogotá. We talk during the tour about what happened in these places. We will know lots of very important places in the capital city.
