Enjoy Bogotá Downtown

We start the tour at the Gonzalo Jimenez de Quesada monument. There we will talk about Bogotá’s history, its founding time, the reasons why they founded it on the current site.

Then we continue along the environmental axis to the journalists’ park, we talk about the history of the Muiscas (indigenous tribe originally from the area). Then we continue through the narrow streets of the Candelaria, where we can see colonial houses and graffiti of all kinds, then we arrive at the Chorro de Quevedo where the city was founded. We continue towards Calle 10 where we will find coffees and the Teatro Colón. Later we walk down Calle 11 and arrive at the cultural block, where we enter the Botero Museum. Then we go to the Plaza de Bolívar to know the main administrative buildings of the country and the Primada Cathedral of Bogotá. We talk during the tour about what happened in these places.
